Activities of local farmers ‘association in Q1 under review

On April 5, provincial Farmers' Association held a conference to review its activities in the first quarter of 2024 in Bau Bang district.

In the first quarter of 2024, the local Farmes’Association branches in coordination with the Bank for Social Policies to disburse more than VND 10 billion in loan for 26 households while recovering more than VND 7 billion from 877 households. The bank’s total outstanding loans have so far amounted to more than VND 187 billion, providing loans for 5,354 member households.

At the conference, leaders of the Farmers' Associations of districts, towns and cities briefly reported the results of the association's work and farmers' movements in the first quarter of 2024.

On this occasion, the delegates visited Kim Ca orchid farm in Bau Bang district’s Lai Hung commune. This activity aimed at creating favorable conditions for the local Farmers' Associations at all levels to exchange and learn from experience of good and effective models that meet the requirements of the period of accelerated industrialization and modernization. This was also an opportunity for Bau Bang district to promote the local potential and advantages in industry, services and agriculture.
