Ben Cat Town overcomes difficulties, ensures progress, meets targets set by the Party Resolution

On May 10, the Party Committee of Ben Cat town held a conference to mid-term review of Resolution of the Town 12th Party Congress, term 2020-2025. The conference was attended by Nguyen Hoang Thao, Permanent Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Minh Thuy, Member of Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of Provincial Party Organization Commission; Nguyen Truong Nhat Phuong, Vice Chairwoman of Provincial People's Council.

For nearly 3 years, the Party Committee of Ben Cat Town has led the entire Party and people to overcome all difficulties and challenges, ensure progress and targets of the Town Party Resolution, and the successful implementation of Provincial Party Resolution’s goals, programs and projects set out by Provincial Party Committee and the 12th Town Party Executive Committee.

During the first half of the term, the town's annual economic growth continued; investment attraction is done in concentrated and selective manner; Infrastructure continues to be upgraded, especially in key projects that develop linkages and connections between localities. Besides, the town also focused on investing in, building infrastructure, civil construction works in service of socio-economic development; invested in 7 urban upgrading projects with a total investment of VND558.9 billion. Culture - society, defense - security sectors had good changes. Party building, consolidating and improving the management and administration capacity of the government apparatus, and the operational efficiency of Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations received much attention...

Speaking at the conference, Nguyen Hoang Thao appreciated and praised the town's achievements in the first half of the term. He emphasized, due to complicated developments all over the globe, it is forecast that there would be difficulties that need attention of the town’s leaders. To prepare for the recognition of a class-two city by 2025, Ben Cat town needs to complete the process, procedures as well as targets must be achieved; improve urban cultural and civilized lifestyles; develop administrative reform; pay attention to social security work; urban upgrading; shorten the urban distance between wards and communes. In addition, the town needs to create cultural highlights, offices, green parks, and craft villages; review, consolidate, and promote the strength of the great unity bloc... 

On this occasion, the Party Committee of Ben Cat commended 32 collectives and 72 individuals having outstanding achievements in implementing the of the 12th Town Party Resolution.
