Binh Duong announces 12-day Tet break for students

Provincial Department of Education and Training (DoET) has just issued the Official Letter No. 2771/HD-SGDĐT guiding the Tet (Lunar New Year) break for educational institutions.

Accordingly, province-based educational institutions will close from January 18, 2023 (Wednesday, December 27 of lunar calendar) to the end of January 29, 2023. Sunday, January 8 of lunar calendar). With this schedule, students will get a break of 12 days for the upcoming Tet.

For the Tet holiday to take place smoothly, safely and healthily, provincial DoET has also required the whole sector to strictly implement guidance documents; recheck and fully implement policies for employees; visit and encourage students from policy beneficiary families, orphans and retired teachers with difficult circumstances…In addition, educational institutions must ensure safety before, during and after Tet; promote propaganda, management, education and organization for students to enjoy a healthy spring, practice a civilized lifestyle, maintain social order and safety, and traffic safety; do not participate in gambling and social evils…
