Binh Duong Province Association of Consumer Right Protection to perform many practical activities

♦ To enhance the inspection on wholesale markets, animal slaughter houses

In the first 5 months of 2016, Binh Duong Province Association of Consumer Right Protection implemented many practical and effective activities, like Consumer Right’s World Day (Mar 15); strengthening law propaganda on mass media. In addition, its affiliates in collaboration with Youth Union, Farmers' Association, Women’s Union at localities disseminated laws, encouraged consumers to give priority to Vietnamese goods.

Provincial Association of Consumer Right Protection also collaborated with health centers to examine and organize the Action Month of Food Safety, check restaurants, businesses of noodles… to ensure food hygiene and safety in the province.

♦ Provincial Association of Consumer Right Protection and provincial Livestock, Veterinary and Fishery Branch signed an agreement to sell animal products with clear origin and quarantine. Mr. Nguyen Van Ban, Chairman of Provincial Association of Consumer Right Protection, said the two units would cooperate to strengthen inspection at wholesale markets, slaughterhouses, animal product stores... in the province for timely detection and settlement; urge provincial veterinary stations to enhance propaganda, business facilities not to use banned substances in livestock, use products with clear origin, ensure food safety and hygiene.
