Binh Duong to have 4 newly-established towns and districts

The provincial departments of Home Affairs and Construction yesterday set out measures on urban improvement and separation as well as establishment of new districts. According to the planning, there will be 2 newly districts named Bau Bang and Tan Thanh under Ben Cat and Tan Uyen districts and 2 towns of Ben Cat and Tan Uyen.

At the meeting, relevant agencies contributed their ideas of roadmap, procedure, location and legal foundation… to implement the project.

The establishment of the mentioned administration units will create breakthroughs on provincial urban development and management in particular and spur the provincial socio-economic growth in general.

The provincial People’s Committee chairman Le Thanh Cung asked the two departments and relevant agencies to complete the project for approval by the 1st quarter of 2012. The relevant agencies should focus on infrastructure facility building and so on.
