Provincial FFC must be a strong bridge between people, the Party and State

*Nguyen Van Danh appointed as Chairman of 9^th provincial FFC

On the afternoon of August 1, the 9^th provincial Fatherland Front Committee (FFC) held its 11th session. The session was chaired by Nguyen Thi My Hang, Chairwoman of provincial FFC, in attendance of Nguyen Hoang Thao, Pernament Vice Secretary of provincial Party Committee and Nguyen Van Danh, Vice Chairman of provincial People's Committee.

In the first six months of 2024, provincial FFCs at all levels, along with its member organizations, implemented propaganda and mobilization efforts, capturing people’s feelings and aspirations with appropriate contents and forms. Campaigns and movements continued being deployed with many good models, creative ways... Notably, provincial FFCs at all levels mobilized the "For the Poor" Fund and coordinated with member organizations to implement social welfare programs totaling nearly VND 85 billion; donated over VND 10 billion to the construction of “great unity” houses for poor households in Dien Bien province. Additionally, provincial FFCs at all levels proactively implemented preparatory work and successfully organized FFC congresses at all levels.

At the session, 100% of the delegates unanimously agreed to nominate Nguyen Van Danh, Member of provincial Party Committee, Secretary of provincial FFC as Chairman of the 9^th provincial FFC for the 2019-2024 tenure. Phan Hong An was appointed as Vice Chairman of the 9^th provincial FFC.

In his acceptance speech, Mr. Danh expressed his honor while acknowledging the significant responsibility entrusted to him by the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and provincial Party Standing Committee. He pledged to continuously cultivate and train his political, ethical, and lifestyle qualities; unite and fulfill all assigned tasks well.

In his speech at the meeting, Mr. Thao emphasized the need for provincial FFC to be a truly strong bridge between the people, the Party and State. He hoped that in the coming time, provincial FFCs at all levels will further excel in propaganda work; concretizing the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and effectively coordinating with relevant units to make dissemination to create high consensus among people.

Regarding the preparation for the 10^th provincial FFC, Permanent Vice Secretary of provincial Party Committee requested thorough, meticulous and tight preparation to ensure a successful congress…
