Civilized farmer branding

In the context of the increasingly developing agriculture sector and numerous policies supporting rural economic development, the Farmers' Association in the province has been enhancing activities to raise awareness among farmers about their aspirations for upward mobility and participation in community activities.

Farmers assisted with technology application

In response to the new situation, the work of the unions and the farmers' movement aims to foster skills in production, business, and the use of information technology to create motivation and encourage officials, members, and farmers to strive in agricultural production, business, and rural development. Accordingly, from the beginning of the year until now, the Provincial Farmers' Association has strengthened coordination in training, improving knowledge, skills, digital transformation, advanced scientific and technological solutions, and cooperative thinking to support farmers in production and business. In particular, the Provincial Farmers' Association has signed a cooperation agreement with Binh Duong Telecommunications on the "Digital Transformation of 2024-2028 Stage" to serve the association's work and support farmers in applying technology.

The provincial farmers' association also implements plans to organize seminars on "Safe and effective use of fertilizers and plant protection products on crops", helping farmers use fertilizers and plant protection products safely, protect the environment, grasp the technical and physiological characteristics of plants to provide appropriate care, and promote the cultivation of crops in a sustainable organic and biological manner to meet international integration requirements.

In addition, the Provincial Farmers' Association coordinates with the Department of Science and Technology to organize a training course on "Application of AI technology in agricultural management and production". Mr. Ly Quoc An - a successful farmer in Phu An commune (Ben Cat city) said: "AI technology helps farmers control and operate to achieve high-quality productivity. This is a motivation that can attract young people to participate in the digital agriculture sector. The training course has helped farmer members access AI applications in agriculture, automate production processes, from weather forecasting to monitoring the health of crops and animals, managing herds, and improving product quality.”

Local farmers' associations have also supported officials, members, and farmers to participate in training courses, learn from experiences, attend conferences, and workshops on scientific and technological transfer, agricultural production techniques, application of new technical technologies in production, and trade promotion and agricultural products.

The support for knowledge in production and business has met the needs and practical benefits for farmers; thereby increasingly promoting the central role and responsibility of the organization in coordinating the construction of solutions to enhance awareness and thinking for farmers and their aspirations for economic development. On the other hand, the Farmers' Association organizes various patriotic movements; to study and follow the ideology, ethics, and style of President Ho Chi Minh to form the standard of a new patriotic, creative, and technically skilled farmer who participates in the development of agriculture and the construction of a new countryside, and enhances it.

For community development

In the work of the farmer's union and movement, the farmer's unions at all levels in the province regularly mobilize farmers to participate in social and voluntary activities for the development of the community in a civilized and modern direction in rural areas. On routes 25, 29, 32 in hamlet 2, Tru Van Tho commune (Bau Bang district), not only is it clean and green, but there are also security surveillance cameras. The people here strongly agree with the appearance of this road. This is the model "Road with a system of security and order surveillance cameras, environmental sanitation" just implemented by the Farmers' Association. The model has 12 security cameras with funding contributed by members of the community and farmers.

The Farmers' Association of Tru Van Tho Commune implements a model of organizing households along the installation route of cameras in their homes, with at least one camera facing the street. In addition, members of the self-management farmers' group have the function of mobilizing people to raise awareness, self-management, self-defense, and actively detect and report crimes, and participate in ensuring security and order in the area.

In 2024, the Farmers' Association of the province continues to promote the movement "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas". Implementing the guidance of the provincial Farmers' Association, grassroots associations have built models such as "Farmers' Park", "Bright - Green - Clean - Safe roads"; planting and caring for trees, taking care of flower beds along the roads.
