Update: 18-12-2016 | 06:53:55

A Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) contingent led by Nguyen Van Binh, Secretary of the CPV Central Committee and Head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Economic Affairs, has concluded a two-day visit to Angola.

During his visit on December 16-17, Mr Binh met with officials of the Popular Movement for the Liberation of Angola including General Secretary Antonio Paulo and Secretary of Foreign Affairs Juliao Mateus Paulo.

During the meetings, Angolan officials applauded the Vietnam government’s achievements in national construction and development and voiced their desire to boost economic and cultural ties.

They agreed in principle with proposals by the CPV leaders to set up joint ventures with respect to several agricultural initiatives involving rice and coffee production, aquaculture and livestock farming.
