Various cultural and performance activities have been prepared and organized to celebrate Tet holiday, the 17th year of province re-establishment from January 1, 1997 to January 1, 2014, and the 84th year of establishment of Communist Party of Vietnam. Employee of Urban Construction Corporation is changing street bulbs to prepare for Tet holiday activities Concentrated at urban area of Thu Dau Mot City events of spring flower display expected to last from January 20-29 (or December 20-29 of lunar calendar) on Bach Dang Street from Ngo Quyen-Bach Dang crossroad to Ong Kiem Bridge and land area of Bach Dang Center for Commerce and Service.The place was chosen to display and sell ornament plants to service customer needs in the New Year.Along with the flower show, Binh Duong Museum informed of its flower display from January 28 to February 2 (or December 28 to January 6 of the lunar calendar) under sponsorship of Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Association of decorative animal and plants who offered various bonsai, mini decorative plants, decorative organizations among flowers of specialty arranged by artists in and outside of the province.From January 28 to February 5 would be spring journalism festival to be celebrated at Binh Duong Museum and Library in a bid to introduce various spring publications in Binh Duong Province and from provinces and cities nationwide.Besides, book exhibition should be organized to introduce information and images about Communist Party of Vietnam through its all-time congresses.Photography display should also be held from January 28 to February 5 at Binh Duong Museum to introduce productions of local photographers and artists.Performance activities to celebrate New Year should be welcome by youngsters and local communities. For the year, the program should be organized on stage at provincial stadium in 5 consecutive evenings from January to February 3 with rich contents of songs, dances, magic shows, and comedies.The location was to service entertainment of local communities in Thu Dau Mot City and neighborhood.Aside from the above major activities, Tet celebration activities should also be organized across resorts and theme parks.Together with above activities, New Year eve celebration at the central venue of Binh Duong should include dragon-lion dances, performances, and firework show should be amassed to mark Tet holiday.Reported by Binh Minh – Translated by Vi Bao
