Dau Tieng Rubber Company pays attention to manpower quality

In the period of intellectual economic development and international economic integration, building and improving the quality of manpower is an urgent demand. Therefore, the company party committee has built concrete action plans in conformity with developing orientation.

Diversification of training models

Tran Van Du, secretary of the company party committee, said the company’s labor force has been formed by various sources with diversification of skill and qualification. Therefore, the rate of trained-manpower in the company has accounted for 80% from available labor force. This contributes to meet requirements of production and business development for the company.

Along with manpower improvement, fostering and recruiting workers and managers have showed positive changes. Most of cadres and laborers has been trained knowledge on political argument and state management. Till mid-2011, the entire company had 16 employees with post-university degrees, 379 with university and college degrees, 302 with intermediate degrees.

One of the company’s remarkable results lies in training and planning on manpower. The work enhances responsibility of leaders.

Priorities for recruiting intellectuals

In the 2011-2015 period, the company party committee set out a series of measures to build and form up manpower quality synchronously. Based on the foundation, the company has set out long-term and synchronous measures to create hi-quality manpower. Initially, the company will pay attention to luring talents and offer preferential policies for laborers with high qualification.

In addition, the company annually will supplement new factors for manpower development. Tran Van Du added that the company considers hi-quality manpower as a basic factor for the company’s success.

The company targets to reach 95-100% of trained laborers and 100% of fostered employees. The company also eyes to win over 70% of employees reaching intermediate qualification and over, 5% of whom reaches post-university degrees.
