Phu Giao authority inaugurates memorial of political prisoners

Early September 09, Phu Giao District’s authority inaugurated memorial site of political prisoners in former Phuoc Thanh Province fallen by enemy’s murder from 1959 to 1961.

 

The VND4-billion covers an area of over 2,380 square meters including monument and park, commemorating over 300 political soldiers murdered by the enemy at Song Be Bridge. The inauguration also marked the 50th year of Phuoc Thanh Victory.
