Local leaders pay gift visits to poor kids

The provincial People’s Council chairman Vu Minh Sang yesterday paid a gift visit to Long Nguyen commune, Ben Cat district to grant 200 gifts to poor children on the upcoming Full Moon Festival.

Also the same day, Nguyen Minh Giao, head of the provincial party committee’s Training and Propaganda Commission granted 100 gifts including moon cakes to needy children in An Thanh ward and Hung Dinh commune in Thuan An town. Nguyen Minh Giao said that the provincial administration has over years given priorities to children care and protection, especially disadvantaged children.

At Thu Dau Mot town People’s Committee, Tran Thanh Liem, vice chairman of the provincial People’s Committee handed 150 gifts over local needy kids and 200 gifts to child patients at the provincial general hospital.

At Minh Thanh commune, Dau Tieng district, Nguyen Thanh Liem, head of the provincial party committee’s mobilization committee donated 200 gifts to poor children.
