Decree No. 55 / ND-CP on credit policies for agriculture and rural development is implemented in Dau Tieng District

Dau Tieng District just held a conference on implementation of the Decree No.55 / ND-CP on credit policies for agriculture and rural development with participation of leaders of related agencies, departments, associations, Dau Tieng Branch of Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development, An Binh Bank, Sacombank Bank, BIDV, Thanh Tuyen Credit Fund, Binh Duong Provincial People’s Committee, associations of farmers chairmen from communes and towns, and farm owners in the district.

At the conference, the delegates were delivered with the Decree No.55/ND-CP dated 9-6-2015 of the government on credit policies for agriculture and rural development. The decree of 4 chapters and 27 articles relating to credit policies for agriculture and rural development was put into force from July, 25 2015, contributing to build new rural areas, and improving lives of farmers and residents in rural areas. The Decree specifically govern the lending norms and principles, lending interest rates and terms, the State’s supporting policies, and credit policies to encourage agricultural production in the linked model, agricultural insurance in loans of agricultural and rural sector.

Credit policies for agriculture and rural development are to create conditions for organizations and individuals in financing their agriculture and rural development by loans and encourage credit institutions to push up lending in the field so as to contribute to the restructuring of the agricultural sector in connection with building a new countryside and gradual improvement of local living.
