Di An city Association of Women’s over VND 620 million is to support women and children in hardship

On marking the Vietnamese Day of Women, October 20, Di An city Association of Women organized practical events to support women and children in hardship.

Accordingly, the local Association of Women organized the ceremony of unboxing piggy banks to offer over VND 468 million to fundraising along with breadwinning methods to 21 women at the cost of VND 96 million and the ‘godmother’ program to help 19 orphans at the cost of VND 59 million.

On the occasion, officers and members of Di An city Association of Women attended the contest of smart and creative women engaging in vegetable art and traditional cake making of the South.
