Di An, Phu Giao save nearly 4 million kWh of power

On January 7, the Di An branch of Binh Duong Electricity Company reviewed the 2014 program of “Cultural quarter with power saving”.

The whole town last year mobilized 35 out of 41 quarters with more than 21,600 households to take part in the program. As a result, 3,319 households saved 1,080 million kWh of power, accounting for 6% of the town’s total power output consumed.

On this occasion, the branch honored 3 collectives and 40 households for their excellent performance in the 2014 program of “Cultural quarter with power saving”.

*In 2014, 2,874 households in Phu Giao district also saved more than 2.9 million kWh of power, accounting for more than 6% of the local power output consumed.

The above result came from the efforts by the Phu Giao branch of Binh Duong Electricity Company in joining hands with the local mass organizations to speed up propaganda work among locals while mobilizing them to take part in the “Cultural hamlet with power saving” program.

For the program well realized, the branch has also put forward specific measures so that locals can join hands in energy saving, contributing to protecting the environment.
