Diverse activities celebrate International Children’s Day

A wide range of special activities have been organized across the province to celebrate International Children’s Day (June 1).

On May 28 and 29, Di An town’s Library coordinated with the town’s Division of Education and Training to kick off the 2013 drawing competition named “Children Art Award”, absorbing 790 pupils from 28 schools in the town.

Provincial Cultural House for Children will also organize a festival for children with many cultural activities to celebrate International Children’s Day (June 1). Coming to the festival, children will have a chance to take part in useful activities, including a drawing contest, folk games, sporting games, learning consultancy, variety shows, a drama “Na Tra dai nao Thuy cung” from May 30 to June 2…

Also on this occasion, TDM city’s Cultural-Sports Center will organize a variety show in response to the Action Month for Children at Phu Tho ward’s People’s Committee. The show includes a lot of special items performed by children of the center’s mass art performance squad.

Thuan An town’s “Children Art Award” drawing contest 2013 will be organized at Tran Quoc Toan high school on the morning of June 1, aiming to sort out outstanding candidates to attend provincial drawing contest for children in the coming time.

The “Hoi ngo sao Viet” (Meeting of Vietnamese stars) music show will take place at provincial Cultural Center with the performance of renown singers and bands from HCM city, namely Ly Hai, Ung Hoang Phuc, Phi Thanh Van, Nguyen Chanh Tin, Minh Luan, Duc Huy, Thanh Dai Siu, Embassy Band, Action, The Light…
