Efforts to complete Dau Tieng’s regional planning to 2040 this year

Early July 18, the 5^th People's Council of Dau Tieng district for the 2021-2026 tenure held its 7th session to evaluate administration work for socio-economic development in the first half of 2023 while implementing tasks and solutions for the rest of the year.

The district's economic growth reached nearly 13% in the first half of 2023. As a result, the district’s value of industrial production and construction reached more than VND 5.34 trillion, up 16%. The district’s value of trade and services was over VND 4.2 trillion, up 12.5%. The district’s agricultural production value gained more than VND 1.63 trillion, an increase of 5.2% over the same period in 2022. The district’s State budget revenue and expenditure, public investment, advanced new-style rural construction... were implemented synchronously and effectively.

In the last 6 months of the year, the district will focus on completing the local socio-economic development plan for the period of 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, the local plan to 2040; fulfilling the treatment of households raising fish in cages and fishing on Dau Tieng reservoir and Saigon river. The district will direct two communes of Minh Thanh and An Lap to complete dossiers and submit them to the province to be recognized as the advanced new-style rural ones standards.

The 7th session of the district’s People's Council took place on July 18 and 19.
