Establishing Binh Duong youth’s brand name

On Mar 25, Binh Duong Provincial Youth Union hosted “Being proud of Vietnamese youth” Festival and a meeting celebrating the 85^th Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union anniversary (Mar 26^th 1931 – Mar 26^th 2016) at provincial Convention and Exhibition Centre with many exciting, meaningful activities. The meeting consisted of programs, like: provincial leaders met and exchanged with young cadres, members; “Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union - 85 years of construction and growth" exhibition; “Being proud of Vietnamese youth” camp.

The highlight of the festival was the meeting between provincial leadership and Youth Union cadres, members. Tran Van Nam, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Thanh Liem, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Mass Mobilization; Dang Minh Hung, Deputy Chairman of PPC; representatives of departments and agencies; Provincial Youth Union and branches; more than 600 young key cadres and young typical citizen of the province.

Youth Union member raised questions to provincial leaders

At the festival, young ones had the opportunity to present their thoughts, aspirations, raised questions to provincial leadership about policies closely related to youth works. Issues, like: administrative procedure reform; gathering young persons, especially ethnic youth; policies supporting union cadres; development environment for young ones; cultural institutions for the youth; output for compassionate classes… also concerned young participants. Do Huu Tung, Youth Union Secretary of provincial NA’s delegation Office and People’s Council, expressed the wish to establish the brand name of Binh Duong youth; youth projects in the province have its own characteristics and are not confused with other provinces, cities. Because Binh Duong province is in the process of industrialization, urbanization, and young persons play a significant role in this process…

After listening young one’s opinions, provincial leaders gave answers and detailed recommendations. In particular, as a former leader of provincial youth, Mr. Nam said the biggest advantages of union movements was the support and attention of Party committees and government; the coordination between Youth Union and other unions, organization; especially, the spirit, desire, dedication of the youth. However, these favorable conditions are also difficulties, challenges to union staff. Therefore, in order to solve difficulties, it depends greatly on the ability, bravery, and determination of union cadres. Mr. Nam also hoped that provincial young persons would have new thinking, be dynamic and complete Binh Duong youth’s brand establishment.

“Binh Duong is striving to become a city directly under the Central and a smart city, but the ultimate goal is that all Binh Duong people, including young ones, could enjoy the highest welfare from the development of the province”, said Mr. Nam.

Besides talks and exchanges, provincial Youth Union also held a series of activities, such as: “Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union - 85 years of construction and growth" exhibition; “Being proud of Vietnamese youth” camp with camp decoration, group games, Semaphore contest of Youth Federation of districts, towns and city, business bloc, Vietnam Foster Electronics Company, universities and colleges in the province. Especially, the Semaphore ensemble of 500 members to demonstrate the number 85 i.e. the 85^th anniversary of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and number 60 i.e. the 60^th traditional day of Vietnam Youth Federation; camping; award ceremony of the revolutionary song propagandist group’s contest 2016.

Also at the festival, provincial Youth Union held a meeting celebrating the 85^th anniversary of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union to reviewed the 85-year traditions, conferred Young Talent and Excellent Youth Union cadre’s awards, and a cultural and art program.
