Establishment of Lai Uyen township announced

Early August 28, Bau Bang district’s People’s Committee grandly held a ceremony announcing the establishment of Lai Uyen township under the National Assembly Standing Committee’s Resolution No.535/NQ-UBTVQH14 dated July 11, 2018, in attendance of Tran Thanh Liem, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee.

On this occasion, the district’s Party, government and people were awarded the emulation banner of the Prime Minister for excellently fulfilling entrusted tasks and taking lead in the province’s emulation movements in 2017. The district also posthumously bestowed the “heroic Vietnamese mother” title to Nguyen Thi Cuc in Lai Hung commune; awarded the 30-year Party membership insignias to 31 Party members…

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr.Liem congratulated Bau Bang district while suggesting the district in general and Lai Uyen township to further invest in the local infrastructure system as well as making the local urban rejuvenation…
