Good preparation for 1st recruits handing over camping festival of 2011

 Following activities taking care of workers away from home during Tet, The Youth Unions of districts and towns in the province have quickly made preparations for the 1st recruits handing over camping festival of 2011, which will take place on Feb.23 and 24 ahead. This campaign festival aims to encourage the local recruits to well realize their military service.

 

 Apart from the education of the Law on Military National Service and other relevant documents, provincial Youth Unions at all levels have teamed up with mass organizations to directly come and mobilize the families with youths called up for military service to ensure both the quality and quantity of this soldier recruitment stage.

 Ben Cat district’s camping festivals for recruits in this stage will take place at the district’s Military Command with many interesting activities, comprising of an art performance contest, folk games…Whilst, in Dau Tieng district, this camping festival will include a contest for elegant youths, games, street cuisine...

 Di An town is still a unit with strange features in organizing such camping festival. With the theme of “Xuan chien khu” (Spring in war zone), Di An town’s camping festival for recruits in this stage will be organized at Di An primary school with a lot of animated activities such as a beautiful recruit costume contest, an art performance program to welcome recruits, sport games themed “Chien si vui xuan” (Soldiers enjoy spring), a lucky draw program…

 Meanwhile, in Phu Giao district, To Cam Nhung, deputy chief of the district’s Youth Union said: “This year, the district’s camping festival for recruits will have new activities such as a contest to protect barracks, an exchange program between demobees and recruits…, aiming to educate the local youths about their responsibility to the country”.

 With the above-mentioned good preparations, it is hoped that the first provincial recruit handing over camping festival of 2011 will take place successfully.
