*Poor patients under free eye surgery

On December 27, Binh Duong-based Vietcombank branch (Vietcombank Binh Duong) donated three great unity houses to the poor households of Vo Van Nghe (photo), Vo Thi Bich Tuyen in Tuong Binh Hiep commune and Ngo Thi Nho in Phu Hoa ward in TDM city. 

It is known that the above houses are between 45sq.m and 70 sq.m each with a total expense for construction estimated at VND105mln, funded by Vietcombank Binh Duong.

In 2013, Vietcombank Binh Duong spent more than VND1.3bln on social charity activities such as building great unity houses; awarding scholarships to poor pupils; visiting and presenting gifts to social support centers…

*The same day, Di An town’s Red Cross Society and Health Center mobilized the “Duoc Su” charity delegation in HCM city’s Binh Thanh district to provide free check-up and conducted eye surgery on poor patients with a total expense of VND140mln together with 70 gifts given for them.
