Ho Van Men scholarships donated to students

Early March 11 (Feberuary 2 of lunar calendar), Thuan An city’s Youth Union Standing Committee – Young Pioneer Organization (YPO) held a ceremony to mark the death anniversary of the Hero of the People's Armed Forces Ho Van Men. At the ceremony, delegates performed a ritual of offering incense and flowers to commemorate the Hero of the People's Armed Forces Ho Van Men.

On this occasion, the city’s Youth Union – YPO coordinated with the Youth Union branch and YPO detachments of An Thanh ward to carry out a “Mang non” (bamboo shoot) work worth VND 15 million for the family of the Hero of the People's Armed Forces Ho Van Men. Particularly, the YPO detachment of Ho Van Men primary school donated 4 fans to the family of the Hero of the People's Armed Forces Ho Van Men. The city’s Youth Union mobilized donors to give 3 sets of tables and chairs for 3 students who are grandchildren of the Hero of the People's Armed Forces Ho Van Men.

The city’s Youth Union also awarded Ho Van Men scholarships worth VND300,000 - 500,000 each to 27 all-level students with difficult circumstances.
