Leaders of HCM city visit, present gifts to policy beneficiary families in Dau Tieng district’s Minh Tan, Minh Thanh communes

*Supporting VND5bln for rural traffic construction

Early February 2, a delegation of HCM city’s leaders, led by Le Hoang Quan, Member of the Central Party Committee, Chairman of HCM city’s People’s Committee, visited and presented Tet gifts to policy beneficiary families in Dau Tieng district’s Minh Tan and Minh Thanh communes. The delegation was also accompanied by Binh Duong province’s leaders, comprising of Nguyen Huu Tu, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee; Huynh Van Nhi, Chairman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee and Vo Van Minh, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee.

The delegation extended best regards and gave gifts worth VND7mln each to 10 local policy beneficiary families who offered help to the Party Committee of Saigon-Cho Lon-Gia Dinh Zone in the resistance war against American imperialists.

Also on this occasion, the delegation supported VND5bln for Dau Tieng district’s Minh Tan commune, Bau Bang district’s Long Nguyen commune and Ben Cat town’s Phu An commune so that each commune builds a rural road. Each commune was also presented VND50mln. This was one of significant activities towards the 40^th anniversary of the Liberation of South Vietnam and National Reunification.
