Local departments, sectors urged to have good coordination in removing difficulties for power projects, works

On the afternoon of March 27, Vo Van Minh, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People's Committee chaired the 58th session of provincial People's Committee, in attendance of Mai Hung Dung, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Pernament Vice-Chairman of provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Van Danh, Vice-Chairman of provincial People's Committee; leaders of provincial departments and sectors.

The session heard reports on a number of decisions, including a decision stipulating a number of targets in the surplus method as a basis for determining specific land prices; a policy of changing the form of land lease with one-time payment for the entire lease period; an official dispatch of agreement on 110kV and 22kV power lines related to trees in industrial parks, compounds and residential areas; plans to handle difficulties in investing in projects without construction components; a decision approving the investment policy adjustment of the Hoang Ha My Housing Area project.

At the session, leaders of a number of departments and sectors also mentioned arising issues related to the implementation of power projects; assurance of compliance with standards, aesthetics and technical safety when constructing power grids through residential areas...

Concluding the session, Mr.Minh emphasized that electricity is an urgent and necessary issue to serve the local socio-economic development. Therefore, for difficulties in electrical projects and works, it is necessary to focus on handling specific cases and projects. He also requested provincial Department of Industry-Trade and Department of Construction to further coordinate with Binh Duong Electricity Company to remove difficulties for each specific project to ensure the supply of electricity for people's daily life and production.

Provincial People's Committee Chairman also noted that the land price index is a factor to create an environment to attract investment. Therefore, the province’s departments and sectors need to set up appropriate land unit prices, which is a factor to create strengths for localities to develop in the coming time...
