Local industry-trade sector strives to rise by 30% in trade-service value

Provincial Department of Industry and Trade (DoIT), on Dec.30, forwarded a conference to sum up its activities in 2011 and define orientations-tasks for 2012.

 

In 2011, the province reached more than VND123.2bln in industrial production value, up 17.8%; US$10.342mln in export turnover, up 21.1%; VND59.367bln in trade-service value, up 30.5%. Some other tasks, including trade promotion, market control, industrial promotion, industrial development consultancy, energy saving…, also contributed to promoting high growth for the sector’s targets.

 

For 2012’s targets, the sector will strive to increase by 18% in industrial production value, 2% in export turnover and 30% in trade-service value…

 

On this occasion, 8 collectives and 21 individuals of the sector were honored for their excellent performance in 2011. Director of provincial DoIT, Vo Van Cu was also awarded the second-class Labor Medal while former director of provincial DoIT, head of provincial Market Control Department Nguyen Van Ban and vice-director of provincial DoIT received the third-class Labor Medals.
