Local leaders receive and work with Korea’s Deagu city leaders 

On March 31, Tran Thanh Liem, vice chairman of the provincial People’s Committee and reps of departments, relevant agencies paid a working reception with a delegation of Deagu city led by Kim Yon Chang, vice governor of this city.

At the reception, Tran Thanh Liem extended thanks to Deagu city leaders because of assigning medical staff to offer health check-up and treatment for local people. In addition, Liem briefed the guests on local socio-economic situation. Accordingly, Binh Duong is one of 4 provinces and cities gaining the highest foreign investment capital in Vietnam. In Binh Duong, Korea is the nation ranking the third in investment capital with 492 projects, capitalized at US$9bil.

On behalf of Deagu city leaders, Kim Yon-Chang expressed thanks to the provincial leaders for their warm welcome and introduced Deagu city to the local leaders. Accordingly, Deagu is one of Korea’s cities under strong development of medicine, electronics. Kim Yon-Chang said that after this visit, he would urge Deagu city-based enterprises to invest in Binh Duong. He hopes that Deagu city will invite Vietnamese poor patients to Korea for health treatment. In addition, he wishes to spur further cooperation between Deagu and Binh Duong in the coming time.

Tran Thanh Liem extended thanks to Deagu leaders and hoped that the city would set out supportive activities for Binh Duong in the coming time.
