This year, Thanh Hoa B quarter in Thuan An city’s An Thanh ward is the province’s first locality that organizes the great national unity festival in the residential area and celebrates the 93rd anniversary of the traditional day of the Vietnam Fatherland Front. The quarter has 1,178 households, divided into 3 areas and 19 groups of people self-management. The local people are always united, diligent and creative in production, exploiting potential, overcoming difficulties to build up a stable quarter with development in all aspects.

In the joyful and exciting atmosphere of the festival, people in the quarter gathered to participate and immerse themselves in the activities of the great national solidarity festival. Attending the festival with the people of the quarter was Nguyen Thi My Hang, Chairwoman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee. Typically, under the campaign of "All people uniting to build urban civilization" and the movement of "All people uniting to build up cultural lifestyle" in 2023, the quarter has 95.2% of households recognized as cultural families. Evaluating the performance of the quarter in 2023, Pham Thanh Tung, Head of the Executive Board of Thanh Hoa B quarter said that in the past year, despite certain difficulties, officials and people of the quarter has raised the spirit of solidarity, striving to effectively implement the 5 contents of the campaign of "All people uniting to build cultural lifestyle". The movement has gradually gone into depth, achieved practical results and received high consensus from the people. The lives of the local people have been improved gradually.

“The results of the movement have contributed to building up healthy ideology, morality and cultural lifestyle in the society; arousing the country’s fine traditions such as "Drinking water, remember its source", "Paying debt of gratitude", "Neighbourliness”, contributing to improving the material and cultural life of people in the quarter, continuously promoting socio-economic development, providing material and spiritual care for policy beneficiary, disadvantaged families...", Mr. said.

Particularly, under the policy of hunger eradication and poverty reduction, mass organizations have set up loan programs to support members to develop homebased business. For example, the quarter’s Women's Union helped members get VND 3.5 billion in loan for production. The branches of the local mass organizations also helped members get VND 12.9 billion and VND 1.5 billion from preferential loans and the local Fund for the poor...With economic development well realized by the locality, people's lives have been improved gradually.

Speaking at the festival, Nguyen Thi My Hang, Chairwoman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee sent her best regards to all the local officials and people. She hopes that all people in the quarter will further unite, build up a stable life, gradually develop, preserve and promote national cultural identities, joining hands to build up civilized urban and new-style rural areas; uphold democracy and obey the law; participate in building up a pure and strong Party organization and government system.

At the festival, Thanh Hoa B quarter’s Front Working Committee mobilized people to respond to patriotic emulation movements and launched emulation activities to welcome the 13th Fatherland Front Congress of An Thanh ward towards the Vietnam Fatherland Front Congresses at all levels for the 2024-2029 tenure...
