Many activities to celebrate Hatred Phu Loi’s Day

Nguyen Khoa Hai, Director of provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said that in 2018, the department collaborated with Imprisoned revolutionary liaison officers’ committee, and agencies in the province to organize activities marking the 60th anniversary of “Hatred Phu Loi” (1 Dec 1958 - 1 Dec 2018).

Accordingly, from 22 Nov, agencies and units organized visual propagation and communication in TDM City on the history of revolution, historical significance of the event “Hatred Phu Loi”, honoring the great sacrifices of revolutionary soldiers, who were imprisoned by the enemies; held exhibitions of materials, artifacts, images of Phu Loi Prison and typical prisons, and the collection of artifacts "War memorials". Besides, there were activities of exchanges, visit and study about the history of Phu Loi Prison for students and youth union members.

These activities aimed to commemorate the great sacrifices of revolutionary generations, who were imprisoned by the enemies; thereby, communicating history, spirit of revolution, raising awareness and pride in the struggle traditions of Binh Duong soldiers and people, strengthening people's belief in Party leadership. Additionally, these activities were to educate on patriotism, the spirit of heroic struggle of older generations for the young generation, contributing to promoting the values ​​of national historical monument Phu Loi Prison.
