Measures of socio-economic development for final half of 2011 discussed

The July 28 first working day at the 2nd session of 8th provincial People’s Council (2011-2016 term) ratified 14 reports and documents on development of local socio-economy, national defense and security in the final half of this year, questioned and answered voters’ petitions.

Reportedly, the local socio-economic situation showed a stable development with remarkable increase in industrial production value, trade-service, agriculture and aquatic products… However, there were some shortcomings of price hike of input materials and so on.

Addressing the session, the provincial People’s Committee chairman Vu Minh Sang asked deputies to raise responsibility and uphold capacity to contribute valued ideas. In the afternoon, deputies entered question-answer content.

Today, the provincial People’s Committee chairman will make clear questions of deputies and set out measures for local socio-economic and national defense development in the final half of this year.
