In recent years, Ben Cat District’s authority has taken great consideration of investment into facilities and training of medical officers to esure better healthcare for the public under motto of “improving healthcare quality” proposed by the State and Party.

As for staff, the district’s healthcare system has 259 officers, of which 11 are postgraduate degree qualified, 34 graduate qualified, 182 middle school qualified and others. besides, the system also covers clinics across 87 localities with the help of 137 coordinators on nutrition problems and 191 coordinators on population.

The first stage of District’s Hospital has also been completed with 2 new clinics in Hoa Loi and Tan Hung. Meanwhile, mobile X-ray photographying and biochemical testing devices have been upgraded to ensure health checking quality as well as treatments ffor patients who previously could only rely on provincial hospital.

National programs have also been organized to prevent possible epidemics and infections.

In general, the national programs proved to be effective under the motto of kindness of physicians who are entrusted by local people.
