Meeting to prepare activities in celebration of Vietnamese Revolutionary Press Day

Early June 1, Truong Thi Bich Hanh, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Propaganda and Education chaired a meeting with a number of relevant units to prepare conditions and contents to advise provincial Party Standing Committee on the organization of activities to celebrate the 97th anniversary of the Vietnamese Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2022) and award the Nguyen Van Tiet Press Prize 2021.

These activities aim at reviewing the glorious tradition and show gratitude to journalists who have devoted and contributed to the Vietnamese revolutionary press cause; encouraging and creating an exciting atmosphere for journalists to improve their political stance, ethics and skills. As required, the organization of the meeting to celebrate the Vietnamese Revolutionary Press Day must be in a solemn, practical and useful spirit while ensuring Covid-19 prevention and control under the regulations.

At the meeting, provincial Journalists Association will launch the 7th Golden Hammer and Sickle Award 2022, the Journalism Award on external information, the award of an essay writing contest on protecting the ideological foundation of the Communist Party of Vietnam and refuting wrongful and hostile views and a number of other contests.
