More practical activities in tribute to martyrs and care for their relatives

*To mark the 65th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day, since early this year, Ben Cat district has built 22 gratitude houses worth more than VND2bln and upgraded 51 others with a total expense of more than VND1.5bln; donated 100 gifts worth VND1.5mln to the families of war invalids and martyrs…The district’s mass organizations, communes and township have also organized many activities in tribute to heroes and martyrs, including art performances, gift visits…

*Dau Tieng district’s Minh Hoa commune has just cooperated with the district’s Division of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs to donate a gratitude house for Phan Thi Lien, the wife of martyr Nguyen Van Siem in Hoa Hiep hamlet. The 40sq.m house is worth VND60mln, funded by Dau Tieng Rubber Corporation.

*Under the moral principle of “When drinking water, remember its source”, the Youth Union of An Binh ward in Di An town has just teamed up with many other Youth Unions to visit and present gifts to 15 war invalids, sick soldiers and those who rendered services to the revolution…

*Phu Giao district’s Youth Union has just visited and presented gifts to policy beneficiary families; cleaned up monuments; organized a candle-lighting ceremony in tribute to heroes and martyrs at district’s Martyrs’ Cemetery…on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day.

*The Youth Union of Tan My commune in Tan Uyen district has just organized such practical programs as visiting, presenting gifts to Vietnamese heroic mothers, policy beneficiary families; joining hands with the district’s Health Center to provide free medical check-ups and medicine for war invalids and those who rendered services to the revolution…, to mark the 65th anniversary of the War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day. On this occasion, the local youths also cleaned up a monument of military commander and poet Huynh Van Nghe and other monuments of Tan My, Lac An and Thuong Tan communes.
