MOU on cooperation in scientific research and human resource training between Binh Duong and the Ho Chi Minh City International University inked

Leaders of provincial People’s Committee and the Ho Chi Minh International University at the MOU signing ceremony

Attending the ceremony were Tran Thanh Liem, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee; A.Prof, Dr. Ho Thanh Phong, Principal of the Ho Chi Minh City International University; Dr.Nguyen Duc Nghia, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh city International University and leaders of the province’s sectors.

Under the MOU, Binh Duong will create favorable conditions for the Ho Chi Minh City International University to take part in the local fields of scientific research, sci-tech transfer and human resource training. The two sides will focus on researching and improving plants with high economic efficiency; researching enzymes for functional food processing; applying IT in the domain of administrative reform; transferring sci-tech advancements in agricultural production; researching and applying advanced environmental pollution treatment technologies for solid, liquid and gas waste …

For human resource training, the Ho Chi Minh City International University will train medical staff at the local people’s demand for medical examination and treatment. The school will also give training on management skills for province-based small and medium sized enterprises and cooperatives; provide pupils at province-based high schools with career advice…

All the above contents of the MOU will be implemented in the 2014 and 2017 period.
