Nam Kim Steel Company lists on the bourse

Nam Kim Steel JSC (Nakisco) listed its shares on the stock market at the HCMC Stock Exchange (HSX) on Jan. 14. The company put 23 million shares, coded NKG, into trading at the same day. This is the 308th  companies listing on the HSX.

Founded in 2002 at Thuan An district, Nakisco is one of big steel companies in Vietnam. In 2010, Nakisco reached a total turnover of VND2,350bil, a rise of 65%, a pretax profit of VND130bil, a year-on-year increase of 69.5%.

Aside from a plant in the district, Nakisco has launched the second plant at Dong An II IP with the total capital of over VND600bil. It is expected that the second plant will put into operation by the second quarter of 2011, contributing to lift its capacity to 400,000 tons per year.
