Over 1,800 educational officials to be recruited

On Jun 6, Mr. Dang Minh Hung, Vice Chairman of PPC, chaired a meeting of Recruitment Council of educational and training officials in 2016-2017 school year.

According to the draft plan, recruited Education and Training sector’s officials must meet professional qualifications; will be arranged according to the sector’s needs. Applications will be assessed by the Recruitment Council and then recommended to PPC for approval.

At the meeting, based on the assigned payroll and actual needs of the 2016-2017 school year, Department of Education and Training also proposed an amount of 1,818 positions for the sector. To foreign language teachers, candidates must be proficient in two foreign languages.

Concluding the meeting, Mr. Dang Minh Hung said the recruitment of educational and training officials was to supplement the number of teachers and officials in the 2016-2017 school year under standardization requirements, and to ensure the quality of all-level teaching team and educational officials according to subject requirements, training levels, working positions, and payroll targets.

Accordingly, Mr. Dang Minh Hung also asked Department of Education and Training to supplement recruitment requirements in line with regulations and standards of school subjects.
