Over 27 million kWh of electricity saved in January 2022

According to Binh Duong Power Company, in January, the whole province saved more than 27 million kWh of electricity, equivalent to saving 2.1% of commercial electricity output. That is also the level the province's electricity sector strives to save in the total commercial electricity output of 2022.

Although it is the peak of the dry season with the demand for electricity on increase, the electricity sector always ensures a smooth and safe supply of electricity for people’s production and daily life. Particularly, the sector’s System Average Interruption Duration Index (SAIDI) of customer last month was 17.481 minutes. The System Average Interruption Frequency Index (SAIFI) was only 1.7 times. The Momentary average interruption frequency index (MAIFI) was 0.012 times.
