Over VND325 billion spent on support packages for people affected by Covid-19

Early April 13, the working group No. 1 under the supervisory delegation of provincial People's Council, led by Nguyen Truong Nhat Phuong, Vice-Chairwoman of provincial People's Council together with representatives of departments and sectors had a working session with Bau Bang district about the local result of implementing policies to support people affected by Covid-19 pandemic at the district’s People's Committee.

At the working session, leaders of Tru Van Tho commune and Bau Bang district reported on the results of the implementation of support policies for the local people affected by Covid-19 pandemic. The total value of support packages done by the district was more than VND 325.8 billion, including more than VND199.8billion from local State budget and more than VND125.9 billion from other sources. Mrs.Phuong acknowledged and praised the efforts by the district in supporting people affected by the Covid pandemic over the past time. She also asked for the locality to recheck all amounts collected and spent for beneficiaries, rechecked relevant documents for legal completion to be clear and transparent when explaining...

At the working session, representatives of local leaders also made suggestions to the delegation to submit them to provincial People's Committee in the coming time, aiming to ensure better care for the lives of people from all strata...
