To supervise spending of policy support packages in Lai Uyen town (Bau Bang district)

On April 12, a delegation of Binh Duong Provincial People's Council’s was led by Nguyen Truong Nhat Phuong, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council; carried out an inspection of implementation results of support policies due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic at Lai Uyen Town People's Committee (Bau Bang District).

According to reports, the fourth Covid-19 outbreak made damaging effects on Lai Uyen town. However, most workers staying in lodging houses were supported timely by policy packages. The support packages included free labor support, rent allowance, provision of food, rice from the Government...

Speaking at the meeting, Nguyen Truong Nhat Phuong asked the localities to accelerate the implementation of support packages under Resolution No. 04/2021/NQ-HDND of the Provincial People's Council and Decision No. 12/2021/QD-UBND of the Provincial People's Committee. In the coming time, Lai Uyen town needs to continue checking cases of people that are eligible for the support policy package according to Decision No. 09/2021/QD-UBND dated July 16th 2021 of the Provincial People's Committee; strengthen the monitoring work in order to make timely spending, enough spending, not miss out any group, contributing to facilitate socio-economic development in the locality.
