100% households of Phu Giao District use clean and sanitary water

 As determining clean water and environmental sanitation is an important indicator in the set of criteria for evaluating the national target program of new rural construction, in recent years, Phu Giao district has strived to carry out the tasks of providing clean water, maintaining environmental hygiene, and gained positive results. Up to now, rural clean water and hygienic water systems were upgraded in 11/11 communes and towns, the rate of households using clean and hygienic water for daily activities reaches 100%. Technical transfer and support for building biogas systems to reduce environmental pollution have been improved, contributing to improving the quality of people's lives.

Currently, the district is also actively encouraging people and businesses to change their habits of using unhygienic natural water and switch to using clean water from the centralized water supply system. In addition, the district puts garbage in the right place, maintains hygiene, does not build livestock barns near houses or residential areas, livestock waste must be treated. Units, businesses, production and business establishments implement measures to reduce environmental pollution, effectively use and save natural resources, and ensure sustainable development.
