Pilot fining for overloaded vehicles at automatic weighing station on DT.741 road

The Provincial Department of Transport has announced a pilot application of administrative penalties imposed on individuals and organizations transporting goods by car through extracting data from vehicle load inspection stations on DT.741 road.

Namely, from October 1, the department will pilot fines at the vehicle weight inspection station located at Km22+850 on DT.741 road, in Tan Binh town, Bac Tan Uyen district, for a period of 12 months.

The application of this penalty aims to ensure traffic order and safety and protect traffic infrastructure and raise awareness and compliance with legal regulations on traffic order and safety. Thereby, to promptly detect, warn, prevent, and handle violations of load capacity of freight vehicles on DT.741 road as well as other routes in the province.
