A meeting to contribute ideas for the ‘overall planning scheme for tourism development till 2020’ took place at the local People’s Committee on May 5. Participants raised many ideas for the planning scheme.

According to Nguyen Van Hiep, vice chairman of the provincial People’s Committee the scheme’s draft contents ensured the set requirements, but measures and key targets for tourism development should be more searched.

Among 3 planning measures set out at the conference, the measure No. 2 had a high feasibility. Under the measure, the locality will welcome nearly 4.2mil local and foreign arrivals by 2020, so it is necessary to build a tourism culture and civilization in combination with traffic development to spur local tourism growth to a new height.
