The supervision delegation of Thu Dau Mot city’s People's Council monitors the local environmental sanitation

At the People's Council of Thu Dau Mot city, in order to improve the quality of supervision, right from the beginning of the year, the city’s People's Council Standing Committee reported the supervision contents of the People's Council, the People's Council Standing Committee, People's Council committees and People's Council delegate groups for the Party Committee to consider and decide. With such a proactive approach, we will avoid duplicating the objects and contents of inspection and supervision by the Party Committee at the same level, the Fatherland Front and other mass organizations. The proposed contents are appropriate and comprehensive in all fields.

Nguyen Van Sum, Vice-Chairman of Thu Dau Mot city’s People's Council said that after the monitoring activity, all notifications of monitoring results and related information are reported to the Party Standing Committee for consideration, directing for absolute solutions while periodically synthesizing the results of resolving voters' opinions and recommendations from functional sectors to urge, remind or organize re-supervision. In addition to available information channels  as a basis for supervision, People's Councils at all levels need to regularly grasp information and the situation of resolving opinions of organizations and individuals on the 1022 switchboard system...

From the beginning of the 2021-2026 tenure until now, the People's Council Standing Committee of My Phuoc ward in Ben Cat town, in addition to monitoring at regular meetings of the People's Council, has implemented 5 thematic monitoring sessions. Particularly, the ward’s People's Council has organized specialized supervision on household waste collection in the ward; re-supervised environmental sanitation management in exits in My Phuoc 1 residential area in My Phuoc ward...Particularly, in 2024, the ward’s People's Council will organize supervision of household waste collection at Ben Cat market and My Phuoc 2 market. The ward’s People's Council Standing Committee organized supervision of the implementation of regimes and policies under the Resolution No. 16/2023/NQ-HDND dated July 26, 2023 of provincial People's Council on "Regulating titles, a number of regimes and policies for part-time activists and those directly participating in activities; level of funding and operational support for socio-political organizations and social organizations at commune, hamlet and quarter levels in Binh Duong province”.

Depending on the actual conditions and the contents of the monitoring topic, it is necessary to consult experts and professionals in the process of developing a draft report on monitoring results while focusing on issuing concise monitoring conclusions, with key issues; propose clear solutions to overcome problems; recommend the abolition, amendment and supplementation of regulations and policies that are no longer appropriate (if any). In case of necessity, People's Councils at all levels hold meetings to announce supervision conclusions to subjects under supervision or report supervision results to Party committees at all levels to recommend the task of strengthening leadership and direction of the implementation of recommendations after monitoring…
