Since early this year, Phu Giao district’s trade-service activities have continued reaching stable growth with the Tet goods market under scrutiny and purchasing power on increase.
Markets, enterprises working stably
Nguyen Tan Long, Deputy Head of Phu Giao district’s Division of Economics said that the district’s industrial manufacture, trade-service in January 2020 gained stable growth. After the Tet (Lunar New Year) holiday, most enterprises in the district have resumed work. District-based markets have also resumed normal operations. Thanks to management work well realized, the district has reached stability in goods for locals.
Customers at Phuoc Vinh market
In January, the district’s industrial, home industrial production value was VND310.6billion or 7.3% of the year’s plan. This came from the local demand for industrial products on rise together with the growth of production demand for industries of cashew, woodwork, garment, food processing...
The local people’s demand for goods on Tet surged 40% against normal days. The growth also contributied to promoting the local trade-service sector.
Well realizing market control
The district has further attached special importance to the market control. In January, the district asked for 19 facilities selling medical products to seriously realize list prices; inspected and handled 7 wrong cases...
On the Tet holiday, the Market Control Group under the Market Control Team No.4 coordinated with the Management Board of Phuoc Vinh market to require smalltraders to buy goods for Tet with list prices. The local functional agencies also organized the implementation of committments not increasing the prices of pork among 25 pork trading households; carried inspection tours of the Tet market, detected 3 wrong cases relating to list prices with total fine of VND2.2million.
Mr.Long said that with optimistic results in terms of industrial manufacture, trade-service, the district’s economy promise a successful year. With stable growth, the sector of industry and trade will significantly contribute to the local economy.
Also in January, the whole district set up additional 4 businesses with total registered capital of VND24.9billion, bringing the total number of businesses herein to 373 with total capital of VND1.8trillion. In addition, there were 21 business registration certificates granted with total registered capital of VND12.7billion...
