Phu Giao well controls Covid-19 pandemic

After inspecting the tasks of preventing Covid-19 pandemic, ensuring security-order at checkpoints in Ca Na hamlet’s An Binh commune in Phu Giao district on the afternoon of February 5, Ho Quang Diep, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Council spoke highly of the organization of the district’s Steering Board for Covid-19 Prevention and Control.

Phu Giao district has well controlled Covid-19 pandemic. The district has no new case of Covid-19 pandemic in the community and isolation zones.

Ho Quang Diep, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Council inspects the organization of Covid-19 prevention and control at the isolation checkpoint in Binh An commune’s Ca Na hamlet in Phu Giao district.

Mr.Diep extended best regards to the local functional forces while offering necessities to them and people in the medical isolation zones of An Binh commune’s Ca Na hamlet. He spoke highly of coordination between the local functional forces in Covid-19 prevention and control. He also reminded the local functional forces to regularly catch people’s aspirations for timely support.

Regarding the district’s Covid-19 prevention and control, Doan Van Dong, Chairman of Phu Giao district’s People’s Committee said that as of February 5 afternoon, the district recorded 5 cases tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 in Ca Na hamlet. The district also took 421 blood samples for medical tasks. As of the afternoon of the same day, the district had no new case of Covid-19.

“The district sprayed disinfectant on large scale in areas relating to Covid-19 cases while taking good care of people and functional forces in concentrated isolation zones. The district also coordinated with medical agencies to boost the process of tracing the contacts of F1 cases relating to the patient 1886; took another 86 blood samples, including 28 of F1 cases, for testing”, Mr.Dong said.

The district is expected to take blood samples of 2,499 cadres, civil servants, medical workers, functional forces and 1,501 people in Ca Na hamlet in the local medical isolation zones for Covid-19 testing.
