Poor people under free medical examination

Ben Cat town’s Red Cross Society has just teamed up with delegations of physicians to provide free medical check-ups and medicine for 50 poor people with a total value of VND10mln.
Over the past time, private medical facilities also provided free medical check-ups for more than 1,000 locals with a total value of more than VND37mln. In addition, the town’s Health Center and Chanh Phu Hoa Social Support Center gave free meals worth more than VND72mln for more than 4,500 needy patients.
The town’s Red Cross Society will further consolidate and improve its operational quality while well upholding its key role in humanitarian activities in the coming time.
