Practical activities towards Party congress of North Tan Uyen district

As planned, the 11^th Congress of North Tan Uyen district’s Party Committee for the 2015-2020 tenure will officially open on August 18 ahead. Many practical activities are also being organized across the district in celebration of the local Party Congress.

After being separated from Tan Uyen district, North Tan Uyen district faced a lot of difficulties in all aspects. But thanks to the integral efforts by authorities at all levels and people from all strata, North Tan Uyen district quickly reached stability and obtained major results in each aspect over the past time.

The district’s Party Committee is urgently finishing final preparations for its 11^th congress. Some targets put forward in a political report of the local Party Committee are to improve the whole Party Committee’s leadership and combat capacity; fully tap all sources, focus on infrastructure development and new rural construction, creating the foundation for the district to soon become an ecological urban area of Binh Duong city.

These days, the joyful atmosphere is overwhelming the district’s streets with colorful propaganda flags and panels about the district’s Party Congress. Many practical works in celebration of the district’s Party Congress have also been carrying out by the local organizations and units.

One of key works to welcome the local great political event is DH411 street with the section from Tan Loi bridge to Tan Thanh three-way crossroads with a total length of 10km, which was started for construction from late 2014. According to Nguyen Van Huy, Deputy Head of North Tan Uyen district’s Commission for Propaganda and Education, this is a very significant work and is also the image of the district. Once completed, the street will contribute to more quickly connecting North Tan Uyen district and other localities. It is expected for completion by the end of 2015.

On August 11, the district’s Public Relations Committee also coordinated with the People’s Committees of Lac An and Hieu Liem communes to implement a work on upgrading a rural road connecting Lac An and Hieu Liem communes with total length of more than 2,000 squares and total expense of more than VND350mln, including VND200mln from district-based stone firms and the remainder from other units in the district. It is expected to be completed on August 25 ahead, facilitating the local people’s travelling and goods transportation.

The district’s Women’s Union has so far organized a variety of activities in celebration of the local Party Congress, including presenting 10 saving books worth VND1mln each to women with difficult circumstances. Upon their real situation, the branches of the district’s Women’s Union have also implemented many significant works towards the local great political event…
