Province gets animated with peak month of the Youth Year 2011

During the peak month, provincial Youth Union and its affiliates will strive to fulfill 100% of youth works registered, ensure traffic safety; ensure 100% of youths with practical actions on making environmental hygiene, offering help to poor children, elderly people living alone…

The emulation month will concentrate on activities for the poor with the peak from Dec.25 to 31, 2011. Particularly, the local youths will visit and present gifts to poor people, provide free medical check-ups and medicine for them…

They will also organize many significant programs welcoming the 2012 Tet (Lunar New Year) holiday for young workers, students and border soldiers; get involved in environmental protection activities.

In addition, provincial Youth Union will continue speeding up the action month for children with many substantial activities such as mobilizing organizations, individuals to present gifts, saving books, learning tools…to children with difficult circumstance; organizing classes for orphans, disable children; mobilizing street children to return to their families…

The activities for national border will be also implemented from Dec.20 to 30. The program of “Xuan bien gioi, Tet hai dao” (Spring in border and island areas) will include a lot of meaningful activities for soldiers who are stationed at the borders and remote islands in the provinces of Binh Phuoc, Dac Lac, Lao Cai…

Many other substantial activities, including the “Xuan hong” (Pink spring) festival with a youth day for volunteer blood donation, the selection of “15 outstanding youth works”, the implementation of “Green Sunday” campaign…will be also organized during the peak month of the 2011 Youth Year.

The peak month of the Youth Year 2011 has great significance for provincial Youth Unions at all levels, contributing to helping them fulfill the set tasks of 2011.
