Provinces and cities jointly fight against illicit sand exploitation

In the face of illicit sand exploitation along Sai Gon River and Dau Tieng reservoir, the provincial People’s Committee sent a document to provinces of Tay Ninh, Dong Nai and HCM city in a bid to jointly fight against illicit sand exploitation.

The People’s Committees of the provinces and cities steered functional agencies to cooperate with Binh Duong to set out proper measures.

Pham Danh, director of the provincial department of Environment and Natural Resources, said the Environment and Natural Resources departments at the provinces and cities have made greater efforts to set out measures to fight against illicit sand exploitation along Sai Gon River and Dau Tieng reservoir.
