Provincial People’s Committee Vice-Chairman Tran Thanh Liem made the statement at a conference to review the 2013 activities of provincial Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs (DoLISA) on the morning of December 27. 

Mr.Liem spoke highly of achievements done by provincial DoLISA in 2013. He also suggested the department to better realize social welfare policies, “paying debt of gratitude” policies for policy beneficiary families; effectively use capital resource from the national target program on vocational training & job creation and other many support resources; strengthen coordination with relevant agencies to well carry out the fight against social evils; speed up propaganda work to raise public awareness of gender equality, take care of children and laborers…

On this occasion, two individuals, including Ninh Quoc Binh, Deputy Director of provincial DoLISA and Vu Thi Kim Hien, Head of the Department for Child Protection and Care under provincial DoLISA, were honorably awarded the third-class Labor Medals (photo). Two collectives were also awarded the certificates of merit of provincial People’s Committee for their excellent performance in the task of vocational training and job creation for demobees in 2013.
