The 3rd Congress of the provincial Family Planning Society for the 2010 and 2015 tenure was held yesterday morning, May 4.

Over the past time, provincial Family Planning Society with around 4,300 members effectively realized a lot of models and projects, including the Korean-funded project on boosting education of HIV/AIDS prevention among youths in Di An district’s Binh An commune.... It also gave consultancy on reproductive and sexual health for nearly 18,000 people; provided reproductive healthcare for nearly 2,900 youths; cooperated with relevant units to provide gynaecological check-ups and concentrative measures for thousands of the local women of child-bearing age.

 

The operational quality of the society was improved more and more, greatly contributing to the province’s goals on population and family planning. The above activities also contributed to raising the local youths’ awareness of reproductive health, gender and sexual health…
